The formation of the Abu Dhabi Mar Thoma Edavaka Mission prayer fellowship took place in March 1979. Initially it was gathered in members’ houses. The fellowship was like the mustard seed planted, though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grown, it became a tree helped many people to perch in its branches and grow in the divine knowledge about Jesus Christ. Parish Mission enriched many believers with Word of God and empowered them in their church ministry. Parish Mission ministry solaces many who went through painful trials and troubles with earnest intercession and integral fellowship.

By the Grace of Lord, Parish Mission grown and presently we have two fellowships in a week. One is in Mussafah and other one is in Abu Dhabi conducting on every Friday evening at 6:30pm and 7:30pm respectively. Meetings are arranged for Witnessing, Devotion, Bible Study and Praise and Worship. Each meeting will have singing session, intercession and Word of God. Our Vicar. Rev. Dr. John Philip A and Asst. Vicar. Rev. Shaji Thomas are presiding the meetings in both locations, along with achens, our members are also sharing the Word of God. To implement our faith in action concerning needy, we have a Charity phase to support the needy. Concerning the Gospel Mission, we prayerfully starting a Mission Hostel in Nbarangapur , Odisha for 30girls. Pray and hope God will enlarge the territories of the Mission.

In Parish level we are conducting Annual Convention to revive our parish members with Word and extending prayer and support to all activities of Church. In Centre level, we are part of UAE Centre Parish Mission and regularly attending the activities of Centre.

Apart from the regular meetings, we have a Fasting Prayer meeting on every first Friday in Mussafah Community Centre Upper Hall at 7:45am. Chain Prayer conducting monthly on every second week is a blessing for Mar Thoma Church as whole, our Parish and many who are passing through the valley of pain.

Our Parish Mission is registered with “The Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelists’ Association” Kompady, an official organization of Mar Thoma Church. Presently we have 221 registered members in Parish Mission.
