Ranny Nilackal Diocese

Ranni-Nilackal Diocese doing ministry in various places to bring people in to the love of God. There are different mission centers functioning inside and outside Kerala.

Evangelisation, prayer meeting,house visit, healthcare, community development programmes,self help programmes,housing aid, educational aid, de addiction work, AA meetings etc are the important ministries in the mission field.

Kalahandi Mission field

MAR THOMA MISSION, KALAHANDI

Kalahandi Mission began in the year 2000. 

At present we have Two Achens & family: Rev Dr Jacob George and Rev Shibu Thomas Skaraiah, along with 40 staffs including Evangelists, Teachers and Social Workers. 

Educational Activities

Educational activities namely Balavadis at 6 centres, Gramjyothi school at Biripadi, Chidiyaguda project at Sindhikela and Vanajyothi vidyalaya at Lubengarh are also functioning well. There is evident growth in the children and teachers

Health Care Centre

The functioning of the clinic began from 4th April 2011. Dr. Shyjumon George, Chandigarh functioned as the doctor. We have one supervisor, one female nurse and a lab technician assisting the doctor. An average of 25-30 patients make use of the facility daily. A medical store is also functioning. Requesting support and prayers for the growth of the clinic.

Mar Thoma English Medium School: 

The school started to function from 15th June 2011. We started with Nursery, LKG and UKG sections. Three teachers under the guidance of Rev. Shiju Thomas and Rency Jacob gave leadership. There were 20 students

CARD-Lok Biradari Child Focused Community Development Project

The project successfully completed its pilot phase and entered the main phase. The project aims at holistic development of 17 villages. The main focus will be on education, health, livelihood activities and formation of community based organizations. This project is undertaken along with CARD, Thiruvalla. Guidance and financial support for the project is provided by Holistic Child Development India, Pune. We have to develop the infrastructures on our own.

Climate Change Mitigation Project

Another new development project with the financial support of HCDI, Pune was started from January 2012. This project aims at creating awareness about the ill effects of climate change, making one check dam, 7 farm ponds, water reservoirs, etc.
