Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, traditionally believed to have been founded by St. Thomas (Mar Thoma) one of the 12 disciples of Jesus Christ, and known by the name of the Apostle, in the year AD.52, have its Head Quarters at SCS Campus, Tiruvalla, Kerala, India.

In the sixties, as people from different parts of India came to Abu Dhabi, the Mar Thoma Christians from Kerala formed a prayer group to worship God as taught by their forefathers. Regular prayer meetings were held at the ADPC “Chummery” or at the bachelor quarters of ADCO. Occasional visits of the Vicars of the Mar Thoma Parishes in Kuwait and Bahrain were warmly welcomed by the members. more..
