Abu Dhabi Mar Thoma Church (ADMTC) Internet Policy

The ADMTC Internet Policy states herein below its terms which applies to all members of the Mar Thoma community namely its   parishioners, office bearers, kaisthana samithy members, various organization under ADMTC along with the organization members, its office bearers and committee members:

  1. The ADMTC online usage has to be encouraged as permitted to further the goals and objectives of the Abu Dhabi Mar Thoma Church to serve its members only.
  2. All Parish members are expected to use the Internet responsibly and productively strictly abiding by the laws of UAE, this ADMTC Internet Policy and only as per the written permission of the ADMTC Vicar.
  3. The ADMTC online activities and all the data posted is limited to Church-related activities only and any use to propagate non-Church related agendas or activities are strictly prohibited.
  4. All Internet data transmitted, posted and received on ADMTC computer systems and associated    servers to host all the mentioned data are the sole property of the Abu Dhabi Mar Thoma Church.
  5. Emails sent via the Church email addresses should not contain content that is deemed to be, including without limitation, offensive, discriminatory, harassing, or threatening messages or images and unbecoming of ADMTC, Mar Thoma Church mission, or against any third party and their privacy, and the laws of UAE.
  6. Unauthorized use or installation of third party online applications and interlinking to the official ADMTC website, mobile app or social media applications to propagate self-interests are strictly prohibited.
  7. Sending or posting information or data that are deemed defamatory to the Church, the ADMTC Vicars, Parishioners or office bearers, kaisthana samithy members, various organization under ADMTC along with the organization members, its office bearers and committee members, or in violation to the laws of UAE, are not permitted.
  8. Sharing information online meant for internal administrative purpose is not permitted unless approved in writing by the Vicar of ADMTC.
  9. Introducing malicious software onto the ADMTC network or ADMTC Website and/or jeopardizing the security of the ADMTC's electronic communications systems is not permitted.
  10. Sending or posting chain letters, solicitations, or advertisements not related to Church's purposes or activities are strictly prohibited without ADMTC Vicar's written permission.
  11. Posting personal opinions or views and passing them as ADMTC's official views are not permitted.
  12. ADMTC’s comments, correspondences,  publications, reports,  statements, documents, if reproduced by any one elsewhere (or outside church community)  whether in full or in part or otherwise, without the prior written consent or authorization of the Vicar of ADMTC, does not condone ADMTC’s official views and ADMTC is not responsible in this regard.
  13. All terms and conditions stated in this document are applicable to all users of Church website, mobile and social media application.
  14. All terms and conditions as stated in this document reflect an agreement of all parties and should be governed and interpreted in accordance with the policies and procedures in this ADMTC Internet Policy.
  15. All the above applies to every organization operating under Abu Mar Thoma Church and their individual online presence and wats app groups.
  16. For Efficient handling , timely posting of information and for overall administration and supervision of ADMTC's online information a Web Administrator shall be assigned  for strict observance of ADMTC's Online policy.
  17. All data to be posted on to individual organization's website and the official ADMTC website, respective social media and whatsApp groups has to be approved by the ADMTC Vicar in writing, forwarded for approval by respective organization's secretary and/or office bearer and copied to the Web Administrator.
  18. Each and every individual and/or organization and/or party to which this ADMTC Internet Policy applies is solely liable for any breach or alleged breach, acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct or fraud to the terms of this ADMTC Internet Policy including without limitation, legally, financially, morally or materially, and hereby waives, releases indemnifies and hold harmless ADMTC, from and against any and all liability, claims, compensation, demands, expenses, fees, fines, suits, losses of every kind (including but not limited to fees and expenses of legal counsel) arising out of or resulting from any breach or alleged breach, acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct or fraud, default by any individual and/or organization and/or party to which this ADMTC Internet Policy applies of any term, representation, warranty or covenant herein, in connection with this ADMTC Internet Policy.
  19. Additionally, in case of any breach or alleged breach, acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct or fraud to the terms of this ADMTC Internet Policy by any individual and/or organization and/or party to which this ADMTC Internet Policy applies, ADMTC reserves the right to resort to any available rights and remedies in order to safeguard ADMTC’s rights and interests.
